  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 1/4 c
  • 12 oz
    bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • ·
    peppermint extract
  • ·
    candy canes, crushed

How to Make Peppermint Truffles


  1. Bring the cream and sugar to a boil over low heat, pour over the chocolate and stir until smooth to make a ganache.
  2. Add 1-2 drops of peppermint extract to the ganache and stir to combine.
  3. Cover and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  4. Roll into walnut-sized balls and roll in crushed candies. Chill until ready to serve.
