Peppermint Truffles

Feel free to experiment with different candies and extracts (root beer, lemon, raspberry)
Ingredients

1 cheavy cream
-
1/4 csugar
-
12 ozbittersweet chocolate, chopped

·peppermint extract

·candy canes, crushed
How to Make Peppermint Truffles
- Bring the cream and sugar to a boil over low heat, pour over the chocolate and stir until smooth to make a ganache.
- Add 1-2 drops of peppermint extract to the ganache and stir to combine.
- Cover and chill for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Roll into walnut-sized balls and roll in crushed candies. Chill until ready to serve.
