OMG!!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE These!!! I keep them in the fridge for that cold and minty goodness!! I think they are better then Yorks!

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons peppermint extract
- 4 cups confectioners' sugar
- 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 2 teaspoons shortening
How To Make peppermint patties

Step 1In a lg. mixing bowl, combine condensed milk & peppermint extract. Beat in enough confectioners sugar, a little at a time, to form stiff dough that is no longer sticky.

Step 2Form into 1" balls, then place on waxed paper and flatten with fingers to form "patties". Place in Freezer for 1 hour.

Step 3In med. saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate with shortening stirring often. Remove from heat. Dip patties, one at a time into chocolate by laying them on the tines of a fork and lowering fork into the liquid.

Step 4place back on wax paper and put in fridge to let chocolate set.
