Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 c
    sugar
  • 2/3 c
    5fl.oz.can evaporated milk
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter/margarine
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 2 c
    miniature marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 c
    semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp
    peppermint extract
  • 1/4 c
    crushed,hard peppermint candy

How to Make PEPPERMINT FUDGE CANDY

Step-by-Step

  1. Line 8inch square baking pan with foil.combine sugar evaporated milk,butter&salt,in medium heavy-duty pot.Bring to a full rolling boil over medium heat,stirring constantly.Boil,stirring constantly,for 4 to 5 minutes.
  2. Remove from heat.Stir in marshmallows,morsels, vanilla extract,&peppermint extract.Stir vigorously for 1 minute or until marshmallows are melted.Pour into prepared baking pan,cool for 1 minute.
  3. Top with candy,pressing in slightly.Refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm.Lift from pan;remove foil.Cut into 48 pieces.
