Peppermint Bark

8 to 12 large candy canes or 24 small candy canes
1 pkg. almond bark
2 tsp. peppermint extract


1Place candy canes in plastic bag and break into pieces with wooden mallet
2Melt almond bark in microwave safe bowl in microwave. Stir in peppermint extract.
3Pour into a foil lined 10 x 15 inch pan and spread quickly. Sprinkle with crushed candy canes.
4Chill for 10 minutes or til firm. Break into pieces and store in airtight container in refrigerator. Serves 15
