This is not for someone who doesn't want or can't consume sugar. If you like sugar free Jello feel free to give that a whirl. I have not used it so don't know how it would taste. This little recipe is a great way to spend some fun time with the young ones. The flavors are strong, the colors are vibrant and there is no cooking involved. You can use any size marshmallow, but I do suggest cutting the large ones in half. If you don't use the entire box of Jello, package it up and save it for next time or mix the leftovers together and make a fruit punch jello ! Happy Easter !

  • - mini marshmallows
  • - small boxes of jello
  • 1/4 cup water

How To Make peepers by maggie

  • Step 1
Put water into a shallow bowl or ramekin. Select your favorite Jello flavors. Pour each box of Jello granules into a small bowl or ramekin.
  • Step 2
If using large marshmallows, cut them in half. Take one marshmallow and do a quick dunk into the water. Shake the excess off then immediately roll it in whichever Jello you would like to use. Once you have it covered in the granules set it on a cooling rack to set up. Allow them to set for at least 10 minutes.
  • Step 3
Store in airtight container. I honestly don't know how long they will last because they never last more than a day or 2 at our house.
