Found the basis for my fudge in a 1980's Southern Living cookbook

  • 1 (12) oz
    package milk chocolate chips
  • 2 (12) oz
    packages semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (7) oz
    jar marshmellow creme
  • 1 c
  • 4 1/2 c
  • 1 (13) oz
    can evaporated milk
  • 3-4 c
    chopped pecans

How to Make Pecan Fudge


  1. Combine chocolate chips, marshmellow creme, and butter in a large bowl
  2. Combine sugar and evaporated milk in a heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and cook over med-low heat for 9 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Pour over chocolate mixture, stir until melted and smooth. Add pecans, stir until well blended
  4. Spread into a prepared pan and chill until firm.
    Cut into squares and serve
    Store in a lidded container in refridgerator
