peanut butter/mounds candy
If you like peanut butter, and coconut crean candy then this recipe is for you. Out of one mix you will get two different candy, diped in chocolate. One is like a peanut butter cup, the other is like a mounds bar. This recipe is so easy to make, and you get a lot of candy from one mix.I found this resipe years ago and I use it a lot.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds confectioners sugar
- 1/4 pound butter softened
- 1 package ( 8 oz ) cream cheese softened
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 12 ounces peanut butter
- 1 pound flaked coconut
- 4 cups semi-sweet chocolate
- 2 tablespoons shortening
How To Make peanut butter/mounds candy

Step 1In a large mixing bowl, combine sugar, butter, cream cheese, and vanilla. Divide the batter in half and place each half of the batter in a bowl of it's own. Stir peanut butter into one bowl of batter and the coconut into the other.

Step 2Using your hands mold the dough into a ball or squars ( or mold of you choice ) and arrange on a baking sheet. Place in the freezer until harden.

Step 3When the candy has set, melt the chocolate chips and shortening in the top of a double boiler. Dip the candy into the chocolate until covered. Place the candy on waxed paper and return to the freezer to harden. After the chocolate has hardened the candy can be kept in the refrigerator until used.
