How to Make Peanut Butter Brittle


  1. In a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish, stir together sugar and syrup. Microwave on high for 4 minutes.
  2. Stir in peanuts. Microwave on high for 3 to 5 minutes or until light brown.
  3. Add baking soda and gently stir until light and foamy. Pour mixture onto a lightly buttered cookie sheet or unbuttered nonstick coated cookie sheet.
  4. Let cool for 1/2 to 1 hour. When cool, break into small pieces and store in a airtight container.
