Here is another Ohio recipe.. Funny I am from Salem Massachusetts, amazing what we do for our spouses.

Ingredients

3 cups peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
1 1/2 pounds confectionary sugar
1/2 pound butter,or margarine, room temperature
18 ounces chocolate chips (any flavor) (or the block melting chocolate sold in many grocery stores)

How To Make peanut butter balls (buckeyes)

Step 1

Combine the first three ingredients completely

Step 2

Form into small balls the size of walnuts and refrigerate for 1 hour
Step 3

Melt chocolate in a double boiler
Step 4

Dip the peanut butter balls into chocolate leaving a small portion of the peanut butter exposed and place on waxed paper
Step 5

Refrigerate until firm
