This is a fabulous Peanut Brittle recipe a friend of mine ran across. It takes only a few minutes to make and even fewer to be cleared from the serving tray!

How to Make Peanut Brittle (EASY - Microwave)


  1. Combine Peanuts, sugar, syrup and salt in a 2 quart microwaveable bowl.
  2. Cook on high in microwave for 8 minutes, stopping to stir half-way through
  3. Add butter and Vanilla, mix well
  4. Cook for 2 additional minutes
  5. add baking soda and stir quickly until light and foamy
  6. spread into a well buttered baking sheet
  7. Cool and break into pieces, serve!
