Ingredients
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup white corn syrup
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 tablespoons butter, room temperature
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups salted peanuts
How To Make peanut brittle

Step 1Cook syrup, sugar, and water in a heavy pan over med. heat, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved. Cook until mix reaches 285 degrees on a candy therm.

Step 2Remove at once and stir in nuts and butter. Cook and stir again to 295 degrees and remove from heat and add vanilla and soda. Stir rapidly. Pour onto a well greased cookie sheet and cool. When cool crack into pieces.
