Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 3/4 cup corn syrup, light
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
How To Make pat's caramel candy pieces

Step 1Melt the butter in a heavy 8 quart pan.

Step 2Add the remaining ingredients and using a candy thermometer, cook to a soft ball stage. That is about 245 - 250 degrees. Stir almost constantly. Watch closely so they don't scorch.

Step 3Carefully pour onto a small cookie sheet to cool. Cut into bite size pieces & enjoy.
