3/4 ccorn syrup, light
1 1/2 cwhole milk
1/8 tspbaking soda
How to Make Pat's Caramel Candy Pieces
- Melt the butter in a heavy 8 quart pan.
- Add the remaining ingredients and using a candy thermometer, cook to a soft ball stage. That is about 245 - 250 degrees. Stir almost constantly. Watch closely so they don't scorch.
- Carefully pour onto a small cookie sheet to cool. Cut into bite size pieces & enjoy.
