Here's another old fashioned recipe I grew up on, that I forgot about over the years. My aunt and Uncle used to make these for us when we were children and they are so easy to make, they melt in your mouth and they're so good it's a must try. these candies are fast and easy to make hope you enjoy

Ingredients
- 1 russet potato, peeled and sliced
- 6 to 8 cup powdered sugar
- 2/3 cup nutella or peanut butter
How To Make old fashioned potato candy

Step 1Put potato in a pot covered with water and cook it on medium-high heat till completely soft. Drain and place in large bowl.

Step 2Use a hand mixer and beat the potato until it is lump free.

Step 3Add 4 cups of powder suger, beat untill mixed well

Step 4Continue to mix powder suger in 1 cup at a time, untill thick, it should have the consistency cookie dough

Step 5Place on a large piece of wax paper sprinkled with powdered sugar, and sprinkle powdered sugar on top also.

Step 6Roll potato mixture out to 1/4 inch rectangle.

Step 7Spread with Nutella or peanut butter.

Step 8Starting on long side Roll up tightly like you would cinnamon rolls. Wrap in wax paper and cut in half, then put in zip lock bag.

Step 9Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or until ready to serve. Remove from wax paper and cut into 3/4 inch slices.
