old fashioned fudge (made in the microwave)
I love the old fashioned type fudge like my mom used to make with Cocoa Powder and carnation milk. Nothing like it. Here is an easier version made in the microwave but tastes like you labored over it. Hope you will enjoy this one.

Ingredients
- 1 cup hershey's cocoa powder
- 2 pounds confectioners' sugar
- 1/2 cup carnations' evaporated milk
- 2 sticks butter or margarine
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts
How To Make old fashioned fudge (made in the microwave)

Step 1Sift cocoa and confectioners' sugar in a large mixing bowl. Add milk and lay margarine sticks on top. Do not stir. Cook on high for six minutes. Remove from microwave and stir thoroughly. Add vanilla and nuts. Stir until well blended. Pour into a buttered 9x13 inch baking dish. Cool in refrigerator for about an hour. Cut into one inch squares. DO NOT DOUBLE THIS RECIPE
