Ingredients
- 1 package 18.25 oz devils food cake mix
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 can 5 oz evaporated milk, divided, reserve 2/3 cup
- 1 cup chopped pecan halves
- 1 package 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 package carmel bits (or soft carmel squares)
How To Make nutty carmel brownies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter and flour 9x9 inch baking dish. Combine cake mix, butter, 1/3 cup of evaporated milk, and nuts. Stir until dough forms. Divide dough in half and press other half into pan. Bake 6-8 minutes or until puffed. Remove.

Step 2In pot over low heat, melt carmels with remaining evaporated milk, stirring occasionally. Sprinkle chocolate chips over dough. Pour carmel mixture over the chips. Crumble the remaining dough on top of the carmel mixture.

Step 3Bake 15-18 minutes or until puffed. Center will be gooey. Cool completely in pan before cutting.
