Have been making these at Christmas for 42 yrs (got recipe when I was 11!) These taste like Pearson's Nut Goodies (Minnesota regional candy.)

Ingredients

12 ounces package of butterscotch chips
12 ounces package of semisweet choc chips
1 can salted peanuts without skins

How To Make nut goodie peanut clusters

Step 1

In microwave safe large mixing bowl combine chocolate and butter scotch chips.

Step 2

Microwave on medium for 90 seconds, and stir, repeat at 30 40 second intervals until all chips are nearly melted.
Step 3

Stir in peanuts until well combined.
Step 4

Drop by rounded teaspoon on to foil lined cookie sheets. Set in cool place (refrigerator or front porch in winter!)
Step 5

When hard remove from foil and place in airtight container. Store in cool place. Makes a great addition to your Christmas cookie/treat platter.
