miss lynne's rum balls

Recipe by

I love these candies and have experimented with different flavorings. I can't decide if I prefer Southern Comfort or Coffee Infused Rum! But you don't have to use alcohol, try orange juice, or vanilla extract and a few tablespoons of water. I love nuts so I increased the amount of pecans in the original recipe. I found the original recipe in the Women's Day Encyclopedia Of Cooking my mother gave me 30 years ago. She collected the set by purchasing one at a time from the grocery store's weekly special. It is still my favorite set of cookbook!
