This is a favorite with my family...Seems like I can't ever make enough...They are good to give as gifts are just to keep on hand for guests...I hope you will enjoy...Caution...Don't try to make these on a damp humid day. They just want harden up if you do.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup whole buttermilk
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups coarsley chopped pecans
  • 1 teaspoon soda

How To Make microwave pralines

  • Step 1
    Add all ingredients into a large microwave safe bowl, except for the soda. Cook on high power for 12 minutes total, stirring after every four minutes.
  • Step 2
    Stir in the baking soda and mix well. Cook on high for an addition minute. Beat mixture for a minute until it becomes tacky. Drop by Tablespoon onto parchment paper or non-stick foil.
