How to Make Mery Mery Mery Meringues
- Preheat the oven to 225F. In a large bowl beat the egg whites & cream of tartar with an electic mixer on high speed for about 5 mins or until soft small peaks form. Make sure not to over beat egg whites. Gradually add in the sugar 1 Tbsp at a time. Then beat until stiff peaks form.
- Then drop Tbsp. of the egg whites on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper. Sprinkle each meringue lightly with the dry gelatin powders.
- Then bake for about 50 mins. Turn off the oven. Prop open the oven door slightly. Let meringues stand in the oven for about 1 hour or until completely cooled.
- Special Tip: Store the cooled meringues in a thghtly covered container at room temperature.
