I make this for Christmas every year. It is the best candy! Sometimes I also use milk chocolate on half of the recipe. You could even make them for Valentines Day and shape the balls into hearts.

Ingredients
- 1 cup eagle brand milk
- 2 pounds white powered sugar
- 1/2 pound butter
- 1 pint coconut
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 pint chopped pecans
- CHOCOLATE
- 1/4 package parafin
- 1 pound semisweet chocolate
How To Make martha washington candy

Step 1Melt butter, mix all ingredients, refrigerate overnight. Roll into balls & dip into chocolate.

Step 2Melt in a double boiler, 1/4 lb parafin and 1 lb semisweet chocolate

Step 3Dip and put on wax paper. Store in refrigerator.
