Everybody loves these. They are easier to eat than the popcorn balls made with syrup. Great for Christmas using red and green M & M's. Or everyday use peanuts for the add ins.

Ingredients

  • 8 quarts popped popcorn, not salted or buttered
  • 1 stick butter (1/2 cup)
  • 1 pound marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup m & m's or peanuts

How To Make marshmallow popcorn balls

  • Step 1
    Place popped corn in a large bowl. Set aside. Melt butter and marshmallows in microwave or top of a double boiler.
  • Step 2
    Pour marshmallow/butter mixture over popcorn. Add M&M's or peanuts and mix well.
  • Step 3
    Quickly form popcorn mixture into balls and set aside to cool and firm up.
