Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 - unsweetened chocolate squares
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 12 - marshmallows
How To Make marshmallow fudge

Step 1Heat milk and chocolate together in heavy saucepan over low heat until chocolate is melted.

Step 2Add sugar, salt and corn syrup.

Step 3Cook, stirring until boiling starts.

Step 4Cover and boil 3 minutes to wash down sugar crystals from pan sides.

Step 5Uncover.

Step 6Cook without stirring until thermometer reaches 232 degrees.

Step 7Remove from heat and cool without stirring to lukewarm.

Step 8Add vanilla and beat until fudge thickens and looses its gloss.

Step 9Cut each marshmallow into 8 pieces and stir into fudge.

Step 10Turn into greased pan.

Step 11Cut into squares when firm.
