I love this recipe! I prefer this over traditional fudge. This also is good without the nuts. My mother is allergic to nuts so I didn't really start using nuts in recipes until I moved out as an adult:)

Ingredients
- 1 cup grade 1 maple syrup
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1/2 cup cream (or a 5oz can evaporated milk)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (use black walnuts if u can find them)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make maple fudge

Step 1Stirring constantly, boil syrup, sugar, cream, salt, and butter to 238 degrees F. Remove from heat. Add nuts and vanilla. Beat until ready to pour into a buttered 8x8 pan. Cool completely (I leave it overnight). Cut into squares.
