My mother-in-law makes these every year for Christmas. She always has to make extras to send some home with all of her kids! Super simple and very yummy!

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup rice krispies cereal
  • 1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips

How To Make mabelle's peanut butter balls

  • Step 1
Stir together marshmallow cream, peanut butter and cereal. Roll into balls and place on cookie sheet covered with wax paper. Refrigerate balls for about one hour.
  • Step 2
Melt chocolate chips in a microwave, stirring every 30 seconds, until melted completely. Dip chilled balls in melted chocolate and place on cookie sheet again. After dipping balls, refrigerate until hardened.
  • Step 3
Remove balls from cookie sheet and store in refrigerator.
  • Step 4
    These can be frozen!
  • Step 5
Variation: Instead of chocolate chips, you can dip balls in butterscotch or vanilla coating.
