Got the recipe from a recipe leaflet on a bottle of Karo syrup

Ingredients

  • 2 quarts popped popcorn
  • 1 1/3 cups pecans
  • 2/3 cup almonds, whole
  • 1/2 cup clear karo syrup
  • 1 1/3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make karo crazy crunch

  • Step 1
    Mix popped popcorn and nuts on a cookie sheet.
  • Step 2
    Combine sugar, margarine and Karo syrup in a 1 1/2 quart saucepan.
  • Step 3
    Bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir occasionally.
  • Step 4
    Boil 10-15 minutes; mixture will turn light caramel color.
  • Step 5
    Pour over popped poprcorn and nuts.
  • Step 6
    Spread to dry. When dry break apart and store in tightly covered container.
