A shared Holiday treat over the years with family and friends. They are soft, melt in your mouth with a hint of an old fashion buttery taste. Easily formed into balls and dipped quickly into chocolate.

Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup butter, soft, unsalted
- 2 cups whipping cream
How To Make joyce's cream caramels

Step 18 in square pan ( I use glass) sprayed with oil.

Step 2Mix sugar, corn syrup, butter and whipping cream in medium size heavy sauce pan.

Step 3Stirring constantly over low heat ( electric 3-4) until reaching 250 degrees or hard ball.

Step 4Remove from heat and pour in pan.

Step 5When cool cut into squares and wrap. An alternative is to form into balls and dip quickly into chocolate.
