These really do taste like gummy bears! I have all these silicone ice cube trays and I have always wanted to try and make my own candy. This is the recipe that I came up with. My daughter and I make this as a quick fun treat anytime, it is so easy.

  • 1-3oz box
    jello, any flavor
  • 2-1/4 oz
    packets unflavored gelatin
  • 1 pkg
    kool-aid, any flavor
  • 1/3 c
    warm water
  • 1/4 c
    superfine sugar

How to Make Homemade Gummy Candies


  1. Put warm water in a small saucepan. Add all other ingredients.
  2. Let sit 5-10 minutes. Stir over low heat until all is dissolved.
  3. Pour into silicone ice cube trays. No need to oil the trays. Let sit for 20-30 minutes to set well.
  4. Pull them out of the trays. You can roll in superfine sugar if you like. Enjoy!
