- 4 tablespoons butter cut into cubes
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 2/3 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make homemade caramels in the microwave

Step 1Grease 8x8 dish or pan.In microwave bowl combine butter,brown sugar and corn syrup. Microwave 2 minutes stir and microwave 2 minutes.

Step 2Add sweetened condensed milk and microwave 3 minutes or less so milk doesn't bubble.

Step 3Stir. Remove and stir in vanilla. Pour into dish and you can sprinkle with sea salt.

Step 4Refrigerate till solid. Cut into square s.
