salted butter, not margarine
2 c
granulated sugar
2 c
chopped pecans
chocolate bars (plain)

How to Make Heath Bar Candy


  • 1Melt butter and sugar.
  • 2Add 1 cup pecans.
  • 3Cook until hard crack. 310 degrees. STIR CONSTANTLY.
  • 4Pour into buttered cookie sheet, spread, then sprinkle remaining nuts.
  • 5Place 6 milk chocolate candy bars on top. When melted spread lightly.
  • 6Refrigerate 20 minutes or more then break into pieces.
