Ingredients

  • 1 pound salted butter, not margarine
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • 6 - chocolate bars (plain)

How To Make heath bar candy

  • Step 1
    Melt butter and sugar.
  • Step 2
    Add 1 cup pecans.
  • Step 3
    Cook until hard crack. 310 degrees. STIR CONSTANTLY.
  • Step 4
    Pour into buttered cookie sheet, spread, then sprinkle remaining nuts.
  • Step 5
    Place 6 milk chocolate candy bars on top. When melted spread lightly.
  • Step 6
    Refrigerate 20 minutes or more then break into pieces.
