Ingredients

4
egg whites, room temperature
8 Tbsp
sugar
1/4 c
finely chopped hazelnuts
1 Tbsp
finely chopped hazelnuts

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 250.
2Line 2 large cookie sheets with wax paper or parchment.
3In small bowl of electric mixer, (hand mixer works fine) whisk whites until they peak softly.
4Beat in sugar, 2 tablespoons at a time and continue until mixture is stiff and shiny.
5Quickly fold in 1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts.
6Drop by tablespoons onto prepared cookie sheets.
7Sprinkle the remaining tablespoon of nuts.
8Bake in preheated oven for 3 hours until dry.
