My grandma Sharon was a wonderful cook and I would like to share some of her great recipes. Many of which where passed to her from her own grandmother. Grandma Sharon wanted to pass her recipes to me as a legacy and I want to share them in her memory with my fellow cooks on JAP - cooks who can appreciate good recipes. Grandma Sharon would have loved JAP.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    butter
  • 1 lb
    velveeta cheese
  • 1 c
    cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 4 lb
    powdered sugar - sifted into a 4 qt. container
  • 2 c
    chopped nuts

How to Make Grandma's Easy Fudge

Step-by-Step

  1. Melt butter and Velveeta in 2 qt double boiler.
  2. Mix cocoa and vanilla into melted mixture.
  3. Pour hot mixture over powdered sugar. Mix thoroughly -this takes some time (about 30 minutes) - keep heat on very low to allow easier stirring.
