This was my Grandmothers recipe. She made them at Christmas. However delicious for any time of the year.

Ingredients

  • STIR AND COOK 7 MINUTES

  • 2 large
    eggs
  • 2/3 c
    sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 c
    dates, chopped
  • REMOVE FROM HEAT AND ADD FOLLOWING

  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 2 c
    rice krispies
  • 1 c
    pecans (chopped)
  • FORM INTO BALLS AND ROLL IN COCONUT

How to Make GRANDMAS COCONUT DATE BALLS

Step-by-Step

  1. Follow directions included in ingredient section.
  2. After it is all mixed together, let it cool for 30 minutes to an hour. The mixture forms into a ball much easier. Then roll in coconut.
