CALIFORNIA: Munch your way across the USA. Melissa Wright, the state of California is now represented. This recipe is from "Capitol Cookies" with recipes from every state & Washington, DC. This recipe was submitted by Sheriff's Community Service Centers, Sacramento, CA, Kay Hall, Chairperson. I personally have not made these so, Melissa, if you make these, let us know if they make your state proud. WARNING: Do not melt chocolate and wax together in microwave for it will catch on fire. Only use wax in the double boiler.

Ingredients
- 2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 2 cups rice krispies cereal
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 stick butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 - bar paraffin wax
- 6 ounces butterscotch chips
- 6 ounces chocolate chips
How To Make golf balls

Step 1Mix the peanut butter, rice krispies, powdered sugar and soft butter together. Shape into balls and place on wax paper.

Step 2Slowly melt together the paraffin wax, chocolate chips and butterscotch chips.

Step 3Dip each ball into melted mixture and place back onto cookie sheet lined with waxed paper. Refrigerate.
