Ingredients
- 4 cups sugar
- 2 cups white corn syrup
- 1 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon flavoring (your choice)
- - food coloring (as desired)

Step 1Combine sugar, syrup and water. Boil until mixture reaches 300 degrees on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat. Add coloring and flavoring as desired. Pour into (ungreased) cookie sheet. Let cool. Crack with back of table knife. Store in a cool, dry place. Candy pieces can be sharp.
