This was an old recipe handed down to me. This fudge stays great for a long time in the freezer.

Ingredients For fudge

  • 6 oz
    chocolate chips, semi sweet
  • 10 oz
    marshmallows
  • 2 c
    nuts (walnuts or pecans)
  • 1/2 lb
    butter
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 can
    evaporate milk (large)
  • 41/2 c
    sugar

How To Make fudge

  • 1
    In a large bowl mix together, chocolate chips, marshmallows, nuts, butter and vanilla. Set aside
  • 2
    In a sauce pan mix evaporated milk and sugar. Bring to a boil and boil for 9 minutes. stir constantly.

    Pour hot mixture into bowl and stir together until everything is melted.
  • 4
    Pour into cookie sheet and freeze. Cut into squares enjoy.
