This Candy is inspired for my Mother's love of chocolate covered peanuts, chocolate covered raisins, and chocolate covered cherries. So I combined all of her favorites into one chocolate covered drop of goodness.

semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c
milk chocolate chips
1/2 c
dark chocolate chips
1 can(s)
sweetened condensed milk
1 Tbsp
light corn syrup
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 c
cashews, salted, coarsely chopped
1 c
peanuts, dry roasted, unsalted coarsely chopped
1/2 c
1/2 c
dried sweet cherries
1/2 c
dried cranberries
1/2 c
golden raisins

How to Make Fruity Nut Drops


  • 1In a heavy saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate chips with the sweetened condensed milk and corn syrup for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat stir in vanilla until blended. Stir in nuts and fruits.
  • 2Drop by Tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper lined baking sheets. Refrigerate for 3 hours or until firm.
    * makes 2 1/2 pounds.
