Frosted Toffee Bars

2 c
uncooked oats
1/2 c
firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 c
1/2 c
semisweet chocolate morsels
1/4 c
peanuts, chopped


1Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2Lightly grease 9" square baking pan.
3In large bowl, combine oats, brown sugar and butter; mix well. Spread into prepared pan.
4Bake 13 minutes or until light golden brown; cool on wire rack.
5In small saucepan over low heat, melt chocolate pieces.
6Spread over baked oat mixture; sprinkle with peanuts.
7Chill 4 hours or until chocolate is set and then cut into 2x1 1/2" bars.
8Store tightly covered in refrigerator--makes about 28 bars.
