1 lb
pecan halves
1 c
white sugar
salt to taste
2
egg whites, stiffly beaten
1/2 c
butter

How to Make FROSTED PECAN BITES

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat oven to 275 degrees
  • 2Toast pecans for 10 to 15 minutes or until lightly toasted. Set aside to cool.
  • 3Fold sugar, salt and pecans into egg whites.
  • 4Increase oven temperature to 325 degrees.
  • 5Melt butter or margarine on a sheet pan.
  • 6Spread the nut mixture over pan and bake for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes.
  • 7Remove from oven and allow to cool.
