English toffee is one of my favorite candies! This recipe is super easy.. Who knew? Enjoy

Ingredients

  • 1 pound margarine
  • 1 pound brown sugar
  • 1 package chocolate chips, 12 oz.
  • 2 cups assorted nuts, chopped

How To Make *english toffee*

  • Step 1
    Melt margarine and brown sugar in a large skillet. Bring to a rolling boil and boil for 12-15 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Pour into a high-sided baking pan and sprinkle on chocolate chips immediately and spread with knife evenly. Sprinkle assorted nuts over top.
  • Step 3
    Cool and break apart.
