- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 bag chocolate chips(12 ounces)
- 1 cup chopped walnuts

Step 1Cook together the butter and sugar to brittle stage when tried in cold water.(300-310 degrees on a candy thermometer).

Step 2Pour onto a cookie sheet that has been greased with butter.Allow to cool. Melt chocolate chips in double boiler and spread onto cooled toffee mixture sprinkle chopped walnuts over melted chocolate. when completely cooled break into pieces.
