Ingredients
- 1 cup light o dark corn syrup
- 1/2 stick butter
- 2 - eggwhites
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 pound shelled mixed nuts ( about 1 3/4 cups )
How To Make easy candied nurs

Step 1begain heating oven to 325. place butter in a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 " jelly-roll pan and place in oven until melted. remove from oven and set aside.

Step 2in a medium bowl, with mixer , beat egg whites and salt until foamy. add 1/4 cup sugar and beat until soft peaks form. beat in karo syrup. stir in nuts, coating well. pour into prepared pan, spread into a single layed.

Step 3bake for 10 minutes, stir nuts thoroughly, return to oven to bake 10 minutes longer. remove from oven stir for 5 minutes to break up nuts and cook slightly.

Step 4continue stirring and breaking up the nuts until lukewarm, 15-20 minutes. when cooled enough to handle, separte into small peces, cool completely. store in airtight tins.
