- whole pecans, (1lb) shelled, toasted
- egg whites
- 1 c
- granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp
- 1 stick
- butter or margarine
Toast whole pecans for about 15 minutes. Remove from oven and place in small bowl. Set aside.
Meantime beat egg whites till very stiff. Add sugar and beat well. Fold in whole toasted pecans gently.
Spread evenly over the butter mixture in pan.
