I personally love this candy. it is my favorite. Everyone who has ever ate it loves it! I found a recipe & adjusted it to my liking & it is delicious!! I make it at Christmas & all thru the year!

Ingredients
- 4 cups sugar
- 1 cup white syrup
- 1 cup hot water
- 4 - egg whites, stiffly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups pecans, in pieces
How To Make diane's divinity

Step 1Mix sugar , syrup, water in large saucepan. bring to a boil & boil until it makes crackle sound when dropped by spoon in cup of cold water.

Step 2Beat egg whites in large bowl til stiff with electric mixer,

Step 3When syrup is done , pour slowly into beaten egg whites. Beat until mixture loses its gloss, then add vanilla & nuts. Pour into lightly buttered or spray Pam 9x13 pan. cut into squares & serve.
