I've told you before, Momma was a wonderful cook! Well, Daddy had his delightful recipes too! This is one he loved to make at Christmas time! Miss you Momma and Daddy!

Ingredients For daddy's whiskey balls

  • 1 c
    vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 1/4 c
    whiskey ( or other liquor such as rum, kahlua, amaretto)
  • 2 Tbsp
    light karo syrup (corn syrup)
  • 1 Tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 1 c
    ground pecans
  • powdered sugar

How To Make daddy's whiskey balls

  • 1
    Mix all ingredients except powdered sugar together. Roll into balls the size of large walnuts. Roll balls in powdered sugar. Must be stored in airtight containers. Extracts may be used to flavor instead of liquor.
