crispy rice chocolate peanut butter treats
My Grand kids are coming tomorrow and they all love crispy rice treats, so Today I decided to change the standard recipe. It looks good, but will have to wait on the expert opinions tomorrow.

Ingredients
- 1/2 stick margarine, do not use tub or lite.
- 1 package marshmallows 10 oz.
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 box confectioners' sugar (16 oz. box)
- 1 cup peanut butter (i used creamy)
- 8 cups crispy rice cereal
How To Make crispy rice chocolate peanut butter treats

Step 1In a large microwave mixing bowl place margarine, marshmallows and chocolate chips. Microwave for two minutes, then stir. Microwave for an additional minute or until fully melted and mixed. Can also be melted on stove burner if preferred.

Step 2add peanut butter and conf. sugar and mix until smooth then add crispy rice and fold into mixture until all crispy rice is covered.

Step 3Spoon mixture into a 6" X 10" X2" pan or pyrex dish and press to ends and sides of pan or dish until smooth. (Lightly spray hands or spatula with cooking spray for easier spreading) Let stand until firm before cutting into squares or bars.
