Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup dark or light brown sugar
- 1 stick butter
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons karo syrup
- 4 cups pecans, chopped
How To Make creole pralines

Step 1Put all ingredients, except pecans, in a 3 quart saucepan. Cook about 20 minutes after boiling starts, stirring constantly. Add pecans and cook until it forms a soft ball in cold water. Stir well and then drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Place a few sheets of newspaper under waxed paper before dropping candy. Allow to harden before removing from waxed paper.
