This is an Amish candy recipe from Clintonville PA, Amish cookbook......Their original recipe calls for 6 TBS of peanut butter...I use 7 Tbsp in mine. Enjoy

Ingredients
- 2 cups white sugar
- 3/4 cup milk
- 26 - saltine crackers, crushed finely
- 7 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- "CRACKER PEANUT BUTTER CANDY"
How To Make cracker peanut butter candy ( the cracker is the secret ingredient)

Step 1Bring sugar and milk to a rolling boil for 3 minutes ( I usually boil mine a couple minutes longer)....ADD crushed crackers, peanut butter, and vanilla. BEAT UNTIL THICK. Pour into a buttered pan and cut into squares.

Step 2POUR the fudge mixture into a pan no larger than an 8x8 inch pan...
