Ingredients

1 c
sugar
1/2 c
cold water
3/4 tsp
salt
1 tsp
vanilla
1 tsp
cinnamon
1 lb
pecans, halved (should be 3 1/2 cups)

How to Make Cinnamon Candied Pecans

Step-by-Step

  • 1Combine sugar, water, salt and vanilla in a skillet and simmer for 4 minutes or until mixture spins small threads from the spoon.
  • 2Remove from heat and stir in pecans.
  • 3Continue stirring until syrup forms a sugar coating over the pecans. Gently seperate nuts while cooling. Place on wax paper until dry.
