Ingredients

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    cold water
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 lb
    pecans, halved (should be 3 1/2 cups)

How to Make Cinnamon Candied Pecans

Step-by-Step

  1. Combine sugar, water, salt and vanilla in a skillet and simmer for 4 minutes or until mixture spins small threads from the spoon.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in pecans.
  3. Continue stirring until syrup forms a sugar coating over the pecans. Gently seperate nuts while cooling. Place on wax paper until dry.
