christmas chocolate toffee
I've heard some people call this "Christams Crack." And as much as I dislike that name, it is terribly true. Because once you start eating this stuff, you just can't stop!

Ingredients
- 1-2 - sleeves of saltine crackers
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 - bag semi sweet chocolate chips
How To Make christmas chocolate toffee

Step 1Line a shallow baking pan with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.

Step 2Line the parchment paper with a single layer of saltine crackers.

Step 3Melt the butter & brown sugar on the stovetop.

Step 4Allow it to come to a boil and then simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often.

Step 5Place in a pre-heated 350* oven for 5 mintues or until bubbly.

Step 6Layer the chocolate chips on top & place back in the oven for about 2 minutes.

Step 7Spread the chocolate out smooth.

Step 8Allow to sit at room temperature to cool, then refrigerate to set.

Step 9When ready to serve, break into chunks. Store in the fridge.
