  • 8 oz
    semi-sweet baking chocolate
  • 8 oz
    heavy cream
  • 1 oz
    butter, cold
  • 2 Tbsp
    brandy extract
  • 1
    egg yolk (beaten)

  • ·
    cocoa powder
  • ·
    almonds, chopped
  • ·
    confectioners' sugar

How to Make Chocolate truffles


  1. In a sauce pan bring the heavy cream to boil, remove from heat , beat the egg yolk in. Add The chocolate, then stir until melted. Stir in the butter and the brandy.
  2. Pour into a bowl and let it cool. Cover with plastic wrap and put it in the freezer for 6 hours.
  3. With a melon baller make little balls an then rolls them on your favorites coatings. Use candy liners for a nice presentation.
